Missing Badges

Why is my RoyaleAPI profile missing some badges?

RoyaleAPI doesn't simply replicate the badges available in-game. We have created our own system to enhance existing badges, fix issues and even add our own.

Fake Badges

One of the most common issues we have fixed relates to "Fake Badges". Fake Badges are badges that Clash Royale adds to profiles by mistake.

This happens often with Global Tournaments and Special Trails. Players who don't finish among the top 10,000 players of an event get a ranked badge anyways, displaying a rank that doesn't match the real one.

RoyaleAPI uses the official leaderboards of each event to generate badge ranks, avoiding the unreliable results from Fake Badges.

Supercell has claimed that badge issues have been resolved, but new events seem to still generate Fake Badges sometimes. Additionally, Fake Badges generated in the past haven't been removed, so fixes for future events don't apply retroactively.

Legacy GT Badges

The original Global Tournament system, which was hosted in the tournament tab, had a different set of issues. The most common one was players being disqualified after Terms of Service checks, which caused missing badges and slight rank variations. You can find details about this older issue in this section.

Is my badge fake?

If a rank badge is displayed in-game and doesn't show up on RoyaleAPI, it is most likely a Fake Badge.

If you remember your final score in the event, you can check for yourself in the leaderboard pages.

How can I add a missing badge to my profile?

If the missing badge is a Fake Badge, it won't be added. Our priority is to accurately display final results of events, even if that means being inconsistent with in-game badges.

If you think a missing badge isn't due to Fake Badges, you can open a ticket in the Support section of RoyaleAPI Discussopen in new window. Explain your issue and give us your player tag, and we can investigate further.
