Clash Royale League (CRL)

The Clash Royale League is Supercell's official esports league, where every year they seek to crown the best and brightest Clash Royale player in the world!

RoyaleAPI aggregates these results every year and displays their results in the form of custom profile badges.

Black vs Blue badges

Don't confuse CRL badges (black) with CRL 20 Win Challenge badges (blue)!

CRL results are only displayed in the black CRL badges, which show the final rank of a player within the CRL leaderboard.

How to earn the badge

To receive one of these CRL badges, players have to partipate in the official Clash Royale League.

Participation requirements may change each year, but the first stage usually involves finishing within the Top 1,000 players of a Path of Legends season. After that, the CRL league ops team checks some additional elegibility requirements, such as Fair Play, age and region.

Additional requirements

Participating in CRL is a necessary but not sufficient requirement to receive the CRL badge.

In order to add CRL badges to our database, participants must have a valid esports profile. Without that, we can't link the badge to your profile.

Once the badge is linked to your profile, all your public accounts will display the CRL badge.

Stage dependent ranks

The ranks in CRL badges aim to display the final rank in each of the CRL editions. To achieve this, we define final ranks based on the last stage reached by each player.

For example, if the Top 16 players of the CRL leaderboard reach the World Finals, their final rank will be defined by their performance in the World Finals event.

Mismatches with the official CRL leaderboard

Although we use official resoults as a source, we sometimes make some adjustments to add consistency to our badge system.

Sometimes the CRL point leaderboard is only one of multiple ways to reach the CRL World Finals. When this happens, adding players from other sources into the leaderboard may push down the ranks of the main CRL point leaderboard.

For example, in 2024 one of the World Final slots is reserved for the winner of the CRCC tournament. Adding this player into the top 8 moves ranks of the main leaderboard down by 1 rank.
