Ladder History
Ladder History is a feature dedicated to the very top of ranked players. RoyaleAPI aggregates the data from top 10 season finished to create a leaderboard and these profile badges.
There are 3 kinds of badges related to Ladder History:
Top 1 finishes
All time Ladder History rank
Annual Ladder History rank
Ladder History badges are tied to esports profiles, not Clash Royale accounts. The main consequences of this are:
Badges are shared and displayed equally across all the associated accounts of a player.
Bans or account deletions don't cause results to disappear; the results remain tied to the esports profile.
Players without an esports profile cannot obtain points and badges, but they can request a profile here.
Eligible seasons
Although Ladder History includes results from the Legacy Ladder system, we don't count all the season dating back to 2016.
During the first year, seasons used to only last 2 weeks and fair play breaches were very common. Issues like account sharing and win trading would regularly compromise the results.
The first monthly season started in April 2017. From then onwards, all the seasons provide points for the Ladder History Leaderboard
Score System
Every season, players earn points based on their rank at the end of the season. The point distribution is as follows:

Each season, we distribute a total of 101 points. This system is not proportional, and intentionally rewards players who finish high within the top 10.
Players may finish in the top 10 with multiple accounts, which happens fairly often. All the points are added together into their personal score.
Top 1 finishes
A very simple badge, and also very hard to obtain. The slot value shows the amount of #1 finished obtained by the player.

All the points earned over the years are added into the Ladder History score, which we use to rank players, creating the Ladder History Leaderboard.
Their rank in the Ladder History Leaderboard is then displayed in these badges.

This version of the Ladder History only considers points earned during a certain year. Each year has a separate leaderboard and a separate badge.
Aside from that, the score and rank system is identical.
